Mindfulness
There are a vast number of activities to choose from to perform mindfulness. Finding the right exercise that suits you is key to being successful at mindfulness. Mindfulness helps one learn to utilize all of your senses while becoming inner-connected with oneself, without judgement, and without stress.
Mindfulness activities such as guided meditation, deep breathing, and muscle relaxation techniques can help you learn to “Be-Here-Now.”
To alleviate life stressors, I use mindfulness and meditate to sound of the Tibetan Singing Drums (as pictured above) and with the sound of crashing ocean waves in the distant background. The sound of the drum and the ocean waves always helps to ground me and refocuses me on what is most important in my life. Let me help you find what grounds you!
